Ich habe einen Vogel /"I have a Bird
i have a bird. i've had it since passing forty, since the time bodily decay
became the center of attention. this bird is gradually taking over my
bodily and mental functions. it doesn't have too much left to do
(and I can keep it as a normal pet). day by day my blood flows a little
bit slower as well; consequently, I'm often cold.(most of all at night) then
the bird comes to me in bed and we get it on (we call it that just for fun:
in reality it sits at my feet and fluffs its feathers so that I can warm my
feet in its plumage. (when it's really hot I can use it to cool myself down,
too: I tie it to a tearproof cord and hang it on the ceiling where it goes
flapping its feathers round in a circle just like a fan and when it needs to
be a bit cooler still I simply yell "where's the cat!?" and it flaps even faster)."
