blütenweiss was founded in October 2006 as an artist-run, temporary art-space. The exhibits were a collaboration between international artists and blütenweiss. The dialogue with the medium of drawing was shaped by both the artist's arrangement as well as the selection of pieces presented; and as such establishes itself as an important aspect of the experience. From May 2007 on bluetenweiss no longer has a permanent exhibition space but it will remain existant anyway: as a nomad art project with different hosts The art-project ANONYMOUS DRAWINGS (organized by the Berlin-based artist Anke Becker) will carry on taking place in regular intervals. blütenweiss is a non-commercial initiative: Any revenue due to art sales will be used to realize further projects. |
